Sentinel Cloud Plug-in (SCP)

SCP is a client-side component that facilitates communication between the SCL components hosted in the cloud and Sentinel RMS components in the customer's site.

>In the Lease mode, SCP is used both in the network or standalone licensing environment.

In network environment, SCP runs as a service on the RMS License Manager host.

In standalone environment, SCP is integrated with the licensing library.

For details, refer to the Lease mode section of the SCL Add-on Installation and Configuration Guide.

>In the On-premises mode, SCP is used for transferring the usage data from the isolated network to the SCL components hosted in the cloud. For details, refer to the On-premises mode section of the SCL Add-on Installation and Configuration Guide.

>In the Connected (Cloud LM) deployment mode, SCP is integrated with the licensing library and provides an easy-to-use wrapper for simplifying the user/device authentication (for On-premises applications running in hostile environment).
